You deserve to feel seen, loved and secure in your closest relationships

Why I do this

Too many people feel stuck, unseen or lonely in their own home. I believe that when we feel safe enough to speak honestly and be heard, relationships can transform. My work is to help you find clarity, courage and connection again.

You're in safe hands. I hold an MA in Relationship Therapy, I am an accredited Relate Practitioner, a member of the BACP Register and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS), and I am fully insured. Professional training and ethics are how I honour the trust you place in me. I see couples, families and individuals from my private practice in Oxshott, Surrey, or online for UK-based and international clients.

How we will work together

Starting counselling may feel uncomfortable and for most people making the first appointment is the most daunting part. Counselling lets you talk about how you feel, away from home life, school or work. It can help you reflect on your choices and take decisions that feel right for you. Ultimately to be able to enjoy your life again.

My goal is that you leave each session with clarity and renewed hope

“Happiness is not something ready-made, it comes from your actions.” — Dalai Lama, XI

Is this for you?

My clients often feel stuck, alone, anxious, misunderstood or unloved. Online sessions can be a simple private way to begin making change. Individual therapy will help them understand their options and make the best decisions to feel fulfilled again. Couples may feel angry after being betrayed, sad after losing a loved one, struggling to live with someone showing destructive behaviours, scared to trust again, resenting aging together. Couple therapy repairs relationships if both partners accept the need to change or mutually accept themselves. It can also help to gain a better understanding as to why the relationship can’t carry on. Families may come to therapy to learn to blend together, or to navigate a separation amicably and minimising the impact on the children, or to share family secrets in a safe place. Family counselling is gives everyone a fair and equal voice and practice empathy and agree practical next steps.

Does it work?

Therapy works when you accept you can’t change others but only yourself. Research and my experience show online therapy can be as effective as in-person work. What matters most is your commitment to the process.Therapy will empower you to think, act, and interact in a more fulfilling way. It will help you move forward with more confidence and self-love.

How many sessions will I need?

Counselling requires focus and commitment. We will agree a plan that suits your goals. Short term (min 6 sessions) or open-ended therapy. Online appointments are flexible and easy access from the comfort of your own home. Consistence and regularity makes progress smoother.

What issues can counselling help with?

You may feel stuck in patterns of conflict or distance, wondering if things can ever feel easy again. You might be carrying grief, betrayal or old hurt you don't want to pass on to your children. You might be scared that if nothing changes, you could lose your relationship - or yourself. I believe there is always a next step you can take, even if you can't see it yet.
